Rip Rap is a specially designed blend of sand, cement and aggregates in a pre-filled, biodegradeable, permeable, paper sack which is designed to readily allow the ingress of moisture through to the cement binder after the bags have been placed in position. Once hydration has occured, a solid, durable and tiered barrier is achieved which is ideal for small retaining walls, bridge revetments, pipe and culvert headwalls.
